10 Months

I cannot believe our little girl is already 10 months old. At her last check up she was 16.9lbs and 27 inches long, so she's growing, just a little on the small side ; )! Kabree gets busier every day. She got her second tooth this last month. She has learned to wave hello and good bye, claps her hands and sort of says Dada and Mom. I don't really think she knows what she's saying but we think will count it anyways : )!

Kabree still loves bath time and crawls as fast as she can down the hall when she hears the tub -running. She loves having books read to her and her favorite is pat-a-cake, she loves clapping her hands along with you. She hates having her shoes and head bands on but I still attempt them everyday with the hopes that one day they will make it at least an hour.
For those who have never seen our daughter in person, she literally never sits still. The closest she might come is sitting on her bum bouncing up and down. She is a very active VERY busy baby. Which makes taking pictures interesting, they either turn out blurry or she is trying to grab the camera. She gets very excited when she hears someone knock on the door, she hurries over to the gate and bounces up and down until I open the door. Kabree loves her cousins and is all smiles when ever she is around any of them.

We love Kabree so much and couldn't imagine our lives without her. Even though some days she completely wears me out I wouldn't change anything about her. I love the busy, full of personality little girl she is.

Fun In The Snow

Our sledding hill
Zach and Jessi
Ethan and Chase
Shay and Libby
Whitney and Wendy
Heather
Hank followed the snowmobiles the whole way,
Troy snowboarding for the first time
Kabree with her Grandpa Vance
Cayleb letting Kabree play with his milk
(Cayleb is one of Kabree's favorite people)

Troy and Wendy came down for a visit so Heather and I loaded up our little families and headed out to Dad and Mom's too. It was crazy as always when it comes to my family but a lot of fun. Larin and Jessica were out of town this last weekend for her brothers mission farewell so they weren't there but they got to have fun with their cousins on their Mom's side.

JT and Cayleb

Friday we all just kind of hung out, Zach and Cayleb pulled each other around on the snow board with the snowmobile for awhile and the guys went on a short night ride but that was it for Friday. Heather and I let Kabree and Justice bath together (we don't usually because Kabree gets a little overly excited when she has a friend in the tub : ) Kabree loved Grandma's toys so much she wouldn't even look at the camera but Justice was all smiles as always. We had Shay try to talk to Kabree to get her to look up and then she got all excited and tried climbing out of the tub. Like I said Kabree gets very excited to have her cousins to play with. Shawn was brave and took all the younger kids to his house to spend the night in their loft. He put their tent up in it so the kids think that's the best thing ever! We thought that would make for a great nights sleep, however Justice and Kabree had other ideas. They were both up all night.

Are those the craziest grins you've ever seen?

Our escapee

Justice, happy as always

Saturday the kids played in the snow ALL day, including the teenage boys. We didn't head up to the hill to go sledding until 4. Troy tried snowboarding for the first time, he did pretty good for his first time but there was a ton of powder where we were. It was kind of hard to sled down. We got the snowmobiles stuck multiple times. It was a lot of fun though, Whit had a amazing she's alive moment when she decided to ride her snow board down the hill, which you fly down and have no way to stop because your sitting on a snow board. She flipped and her head landed in the snow and no kidding her body flipped over with her head stuck in the snow and spoken just like her Dad she jumps up and starts yelling "my board, grab my board I don't want it scratched"
A few of our favorite moments from this weekend. I glance into the leaving room and catch Dad watching TV and bouncing a baby doll on his knee. I asked him if he realized he had a doll and not one of the grandkids and he looked all embarrassed and explained that Hanna had asked him to bounce her doll while she ran an errand : ), he's such a good Grandpa!

Heather bought a veggie tray and the cauliflower was bad in it so they put it in a zip lock to throw it away so the smell couldn't get out. Well, Shawn has a very sensitive gag reflex so Troy and Heather saw an opportunity. Shawn got sick which had Troy and Heather on the ground rolling with laughter, but that wasn't enough so they tried shoving it under the door and then Heather unlocked the door so they could get him again.

Cayleb and Zach played the Wii all day

Uncle Troy let Kabree borrow his hat

They yummy cheesecakes Wendy made

This was the last weekend before Wendy had to go back to school. So Heather, Mom and I decided to head up to Troy and Wendy's to make some watch bands. As always it was a little crazy but we had a lot of fun. Of coarse Wendy out did herself cooking for us, she made Italian subs and yummy mini cheesecakes. The Oreo ones were my favorite. Zach and Cayleb played the Wii downstairs all day. We could hear them yelling and screaming upstairs. Poor Troy came off a grave yard shift and was trying to sleep. Which for those who know my family know that with, Mom, Whit and I (we are the three loudest) that was probably next to impossible. The babies did pretty good, well Wendy and Whitney held them a lot, so I'm pretty sure that had something to do with it : ). Heather made like 5 watch bands by herself and Whitney and I together made 5, so ya she put us all to shame. Mom was the official tie the knot and glue the ends person, I'm pretty sure she loved that job : ), thanks Mom. We had a lot of fun and it was great to see Troy, Wendy and the kids. Thanks Wendy for having us!

9 Months

Kabree is our VERY BUSY little girl! She has been doing great and as always growing way to fast! She loves jabbering to anyway who will listen, crawling a hundred miles an hour, trying new foods, reading books and getting into EVERYTHING. She is a very active little girl that keeps us on our toes. She finally got her first tooth last week, for which we are very grateful and she loves feeling it with her lip. It's kind of funny to watch her rub her bottom lip over it. She is still walking around the furniture and standing a little on her own. She tries to take a step by herself but she loses her balance and falls over. Her favorite time of day is still bath time, when ever she hears the water turn on in the bathroom she cruises down the hall jabbering and laughing. My favorite times of day are when she first wakes up and just wants to snuggle and jabber to me for about 15-20 minutes and when I read to her. She starts squealing and laughing every time you turn the pages. We love her so much and couldn't imagine our lives with out her.

Skylar & Megan's Wedding

Kabree in her pretty little dress

The picture does not even do it justice

Can I just say how happy I am for these two! I love Zach's brother Skylar so much, he is such a great brother in-law and is such a sweetheart. Megan is just as amazing and you can tell how much they love each other. Sky and Megan got married on Saturday in the Salt Lake temple. It was a little scary driving for some but everyone made it and it was a great day! Kabree did pretty good considering all the driving and the really long day for a baby. Her dress was super cute, but made it a little hard to crawl, so to Kabree it was torture.
Megan's Mom and sister made the wedding cake and all the refreshments for the wedding. I just have to say WOW! They tasted as good as the looked. If I hadn't have known you would have thought it was catered
Everything was so pretty and turned out so good. I can't wait to see all the pictures from it (Zach's cousins wife Mandy did the pictures). We are so happy for Skylar and Megan and wish them all the happiness in the world!

Happy New Year!

Can you tell Zach and I are not night owls?
Everyone playing games
Mattie and Kooper watching a movie
Grandpa and Kab's down for the count
My Mom showing her amazing skills

We went to Darrel and Laurie's New Years party this year and as always there was lots of good food and a ton of fun. Eric's girlfriend Kayla made these super yummy dipped pretzels, which I could have eaten the whole plate of. Zach and I decided to risk it and play games together and of coarse got a little competitive. I guess Zach and Albert couldn't handle Tiff and I kicking butt : )! Kabree fell asleep, even with all the craziness, but my Dad held her the whole time so that probably helped. However, about 5 minutes to midnight her little eyes popped open and she realized she was missing out on a party so that was of coarse it for sleep. My cousin James gave her a glow stick as we were leaving and holy cow, she LOVED it. She was so fascinated by it, she would raise it up and stare at it. Finally at 2:30 I took it away from her and she cried her self to sleep, it did come in handy again on the way to Salt Lake the next day.

For Skylar's wedding Kabree got a very cute little dress but needed a sweater, which I couldn't find so I was asking my Mom what she thought I should do and she goes in her work room, comes out with some yarn and asks if it matches, which it did perfectly, so she decided to make up a pattern and see what came out. While we were all eating and playing games at the party my Mom was at the table working away the whole night. She was up until 4 a.m. and wouldn't luck have it, when we put it on Kabree the next morning it was too big! Mom decided she was going to work like a mad woman and try to redo it. Of coarse my Mom is amazing and finished the second one in 2 hours and it worked perfectly! Thanks Mom!!

I just have to say I always love January because it feels like you get a new start on things and a new chance to work on goals. 2009 was a very good year for Zach and I and one we will never forget. Having Kabree has blessed our lives so much and made us happier then we could have ever imagined. We are looking forward to 2010; all the family events and things we hope it will bring!
-Hopefully a little brother or sister for Kabreee
-Maybe some more nieces and nephews : ) hint, hint
